Basic Supplier Requirements
The following information on this page applies to suppliers and contractors that provide Indirect Services, which are products or services that may impact our Supply Chain and/or Corporate Operations. This includes products or services designed for Financial, Legal, IT, Marketing, Human Resource, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Other Related Services.

To ensure the safety and quality of our sourced products and services, Burlington may conduct various types of vendor and supplier evaluations across performance, financial, legal, cyber/security, and other qualitative criteria. Some basic requirements that are prerequisite to our sourcing process include:
- Acceptance of Confidentiality Terms
- Review of Financial Documents
- Review of Past or Pending Lawsuits
- Financial Wellness Screening
- Legal and Adverse Media Screening

Sourcing Process Overview
Our Strategic Sourcing Process serves to create strong relationships with quality suppliers and ensure the success of our Supply Chain and Corporate Operations. A typical sourcing process may include the following:
- Initial Screenings and/or NDAs
- Submission of Bids, Quotes, and Proposals
- Demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and/or Business Case Presentations
- Contract Negotiations and Execution
- Implementation and Performance Review
The goal of this process is to award business to suppliers based on their ability to provide the best-in-class services and performance, at the best price.
